Located in central Georgia is an unincorporated community known as Kathleen. The community is positioned in Houston County. Kathleen is located about 26 miles south of Macon, Georgia and about 100 miles south of Atlanta. Despite being an unincorporated community, Kathleen is home to a large population. In 2016, the United States Census Bureau report approximately 11,506 people lived in Kathleen.  

Kathleen is home to many things to see and do. Big Picture Burgers, Shane’s Rib Shack, and Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers are a few of the restaurants located in the Kathleen.
